24 11 150 - Removing and installing/replacing primary cover (CVT)





Important!
After completion of work, check transmission fluid level Service and Repair.
Use only the approved transmission fluid.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front left wheel
- Remove left wheel arch trim





Release bolts (1) and clips.
Remove primary cover (2)
Tightening torque 24 11 7AZ [1][2]Fluid Pan, CVT.

Installation Note:
Note installation position.
Replace seal.

Note:
In order to replace the primary cover gasket, it will be necessary to remove the Pitot chamber with the Pitot tube.





Release screws (1) on Pitot chamber.
Tightening torque 24 11 13AZ [1][2]Fluid Pan, CVT.

Installation Note:
Replace screws.





Turn Pitot chamber (1) until Pitot filler tube screw (2) is visible.
Release screw.
Tightening torque 24 11 13AZ [1][2]Fluid Pan, CVT.





Turn Pitot filler tube (1) 180°.
Remove Pitot chamber (2).

Installation Note:
Clean Pitot chamber.





Replace primary cover gasket (1).
Clean sealing surfaces.
Check primary cover for damage.
