Repair Instruction For 'Adjusting The Side Window'

Adjust side window and secure correctly

Important note: If the order of the following operations is not adhered to, the glass of the side window can be damaged. If the thread to secure the side window is damaged, the thread must be re-cut.

Repair instruction

1. Remove the window cavity cover strip. Ensure that the shims are firmly tightened. (Special tool.)
2. Remove the door trim panel.
3. Use a torque wrench to tighten the mounting bolt (5 Nm).
4. Refit the door trim panel.
5. Remove the shims and adjust the side window. Tighten the shims.
