Fault Patterns For Noises At The Panorama Sunroof

1. Wind noise from panorama roof.
1. Wind noise at the panorama sunroof caused by a loose or damaged seal on the roof opening.
2. Wind noise at the panorama sunroof at high speeds of approx. 130 km/h. Vehicles concerned built between 13.11.2006 and 16.12.2006.
3. Wind noise at high speeds caused by rubber seal of windscreen. Vehicles affected: built after 01.09.2006
4. Wind noise from roof antenna - high frequency whistling noise at speed above 110 km/h. Vehicles affected: built between 01.09.2006 and 26.02.2007

2. Rattling or grating noises from panorama sunroof.
1. Rattling or grating noises with the roof open.
1. Rattling or grating noise at stop for front roller sun blind. Vehicles affected: built between 01.09.2006 and 15.02.2007

2. Rattling or grating noises with the roof closed.
1. Bolt connection of the glass lid loose, bolts or shims rattling.
2. Wind deflector rattles against the roof frame.
3. Loose objects in the roof frame.
4. Only on vehicles up to date of manufacture 22.01.2007: Headlining rattles in the area of the side sun shade against the roof frame.
5. Wind deflector rattles against the glass sunroof (wind deflector bent).
6. Only on vehicles up to date of manufacture 28.09.2006: Rattling noise from the rear roof area.
7. Only on vehicles up to production week 12/2007: Grating noise due to missing flock velour in the seal of the rear glass lid.
8. Wind deflector rattling against front contact points.

3. Rattling or grating noises during roof movement.
