Outer Gearshifting In Shift Direction Sluggish

Repair instruction
1. Remove the gear lever cover.
2. Check the ease of movement of the gear lever and deflection lever, paying particular attention to narrow points at carpet cutouts. If the sequence of movements of the deflection lever is inhibited, rework the carpet.
3. If no fault is found in the gear lever and deflection lever, replace the selector cable.

Check the shift console for ease of movement.
