Resetting Condition Based Service Indicator









Note: The resetting procedure is aborted by a timeout or a terminal change.






- Switch on ignition. Hood, doors, and trunk must be closed.
Insert the key all the way into the ignition lock.
Press Start/Stop Button to switch ignition on. Do not depress the clutch or brake while doing so, otherwise engine will start.







(1) - Colored symbol in center upper display (Orange for normal, Yellow for service due, Red for service overdue)
(2) - Remaining distance display in center lower display
(3) - Next Service Due date information in center lower display






- Press the trip odometer reset button for approx. 10 seconds until the 1st service job appears in the LC display.






- The upper display in the speedometer is illuminated by a service symbol (e.g.: an oil can denotes an oil change).
The lower display in the speedometer indicates the time or distance remaining until the next service (e.g.: 14000).






- Press the on-board computer button repeatedly to scroll through the individual services





- To reset, press and hold the on-board computer button on the direction indicator/main-beam switch until "RESET" appears in the lower display.
- Pressing the on-board computer button again resets the service shown in the upper display.
- Repeat the procedure for each additional service which is to be reset.

Note: The service jobs are sorted in chronological order. The most critical job is displayed first. The brake pad indicator can only be reset with a new brake pad wear sensor.
