Fault Patterns For Noises From The Area Of The Transmission

1. Noises during the gearshift operation with the vehicle stationary
Impacts in the gearshift gate 5th 6th gear and reverse gear or engagement noises when engaging gears.

2. Noises during the gearshift operation while the vehicle is being driven
1. Whizzing noises from gear lever
2. Howling / peeping noise
3. Synchronous scratching on switching from 1st to 2nd gear
4. Impacts in the gearshift gate 1st - 2nd gear and reverse gear

3. Noises with the vehicle stationary with closed clutch
1. Rattling noise when idling
2. Whistling interference noise that rises and falls
3. Bumping interference noise

4. Noise with the vehicle stationary with opened clutch

5. Noise engaging / disengaging the clutch with the vehicle stationary
Rattling or scrape noise on engaging / disengaging the clutch, engine idling.
