Rattling Noise During Clutching And Declutching

Complaint
Rattling noise / scraping noise on disengaging and engaging the clutch. The noise occurs exclusively with the engine running. The noise does not occur when the clutch is engaged with the engine off.

Cause
Engine vibrations are not dampened sufficiently by the clutch hydraulic system.

Repair instruction
- Replace the clutch operating cylinder and only the hydraulic line on the transmission.
