PURPOSE

This bulletin is issued to correct the engine oil capacity listed in the 1983-1986 Truck, 1985-1986 Starion and 1985 Mirage Service Manuals. As reference to this bulletin, please write the STB number in the revision boxes on the pages listed below.

CORRECTIONS

1983-1986 2WD Truck - 2.6L (G54B) engine only

The correct crankcase oil capacity including oil filter for the 2WD Truck with the 2.6L (G54B) engine is 4.5 U.S. quarts (4.3 liters) as shown below.



1985-1986 Starion

The correct crankcase oil capacity including oil filter is 4.5 U.S. quarts (4.3 liters) as shown below. Add 0.2 U.S. quarts (0.2 liters) if equipped with an oil cooler.



1985 Mirage

The correct crankcase oil capacity including oil filter is as follows:

1.5L Non-Turbo engine - 3.7 U.S. quarts (3.5 liters)
1.6L Turbo engine - 4.2 U.S. quarts (4.0 liters)

Add 0.2 U.S. quarts (0.2 liters) if equipped with an oil cooler.
