Injector Coil Continuity Test

1. Place ignition switch to ``Off'' position, then disconnect injector electrical connectors.
2. Check continuity of injector coil using a suitable meter, Fig. 29. Injector coil resistance should be 2 - 3 ohms on all except models with 2.4L engine or .8 ohms on models with 2.4L engine.
3. If resistance is 0 ohm or abnormally large, there is a short or open circuit in coil. Replace injector.
4. Reconnect injector electrical connectors.
