SUB-EGR Valve Checking

1. While opening the Main Throttle lever by hand, observe the Sub-EGR Valve for smooth movement (Figure 19).

2. If the Sub-EGR Valve is stuck or if it does not open smoothly, service the Sub-EGR valve as described below.

3. If the Sub-EGR Valve operates correctly, proceed to Jet Mixture Solenoid Valve Replacement procedure shown in this bulletin.
