Intermediate Harness Installation

1. Turn on the radio and write down the radio station presets.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery.

3. Disconnect the smaller of the two connectors at the Electronic Control Unit.

4. Install the Intermediate harness to Electronic Control Unit (Figure 42).





5. Bind the connector and harness together (Figure 43-Truck, Figure 44-Montero).

Note:
The harness band must bind the connector and harness together.

6. Reconnect the negative baftery cable.

7. Reset the radio station presets and clock.
