Truck - MD191357 - 1 Required on each Truck claim.
Montero - MD191359 - 1 Required on each Montero claim.


Additional parts only if necessary:
EMR-90-008 Emissions Kit:

Exhaust Manifold kit: MD167725 (Truck and Montero)

Note:
Do not discard any remaining emission kit parts. Remaining parts could be used on other affected vehicles.

USE THIS SECTION ONLY IF THE EMR-90-008 EMISSION RECALL COMPLETED LABEL IS INSTALLED ON THE VEHICLE!

Submit ONE Recall Claim type "C", Menu "E-5" on your Diamond Network System. Do NOT submit as "W" claims!

Each completed dealership's repair order must have an EMR-92-009 checklist attached. The checklist is contained in the EMR-92-009 emission kit and must be completed and signed by the servicing technician. District Service Managers may check for correctly completed and signed checklists attached to repair orders.

ADDITIONAL WARRANTY OPERATIONS

These operations are performed ONLY if there is a need for them.


a. If the exhaust manifold inspection reveals leakage, it must be replaced.

b. If the carburetor choke shim is missing, it must be installed.

c. If the Sub-EGR Valve does not operate smoothly, it must be cleaned.

d. If the basic ignition timing is not at 50 BTDC, it must be readjusted.

e. If the modified vacuum hose assembly is missing, it must be installed.

f. If the intermediate wiring harness is missing, it must be replaced.


Additional Operations Time Allowances:
R&R Exhaust Manifold:
0.6 hr.
Choke Shim Installation:
0.1 hr.
Sub-EGR Valve cleaning:
0.4 hr.
Ignition timing adjustment:
0.1 hr.
Modified vacuum hose installation:
0.2 hr.
Intermediate wiring harness installation:
0.3 hr.
