1. Turn all accessories off, warm up engine until specified idling speed is reached, then turn engine off.
2. Remove air cleaner, then depress the accelerator pedal down, ensuring throttle valve operates smoothly from full close to full open.
3. Remove actuator cover.
4. Loosen locknuts of the cables and let inner cables sag.
5. Contact lever P to stopper, then turn adjusting nut to lengthen outer cable, until just before the lever P begins to operate. Fig. 52.
6. Turn back adjusting nut 1/2 turn, then tighten locking nut. Deflection of cable A should be between 0-.04 inch.
7. Turn adjusting nut of cable B at carburetor or throttle body for a distance of 0-.08 inch between levers C and P. Fig. 53.
