Cooling System: Description and Operation

The electric cooling fans are controlled by two thermo sensors and two relays, one for the radiator fan and one for the condenser fan. Both sensors are located in the radiator lower tank. When coolant temperature reaches approximately 195°F for the radiator thermo sensor, or approximately 210°F for the condenser thermos sensor, the sensor contacts will close providing a ground circuit to the fan relay, which provides voltage to the fan motors.
