Clutch Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Block front wheels, apply parking brake and place transaxle into 5th gear.
2. After adjusting clutch pedal, check clutch interlock as follows:
a. Engine should not start even if ignition switch is turned to the Start position with the clutch pedal not depressed. If engine starts, check interlock switch and harness.
b. Engine should start after clutch pedal has been fully depressed and ignition switch has been turned to the Start position. If engine starts before clutch pedal is fully depressed, adjust clutch interlock.
