TPS HARNESS INSPECTION - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION

[TSB Revision: TSB-93-13-006]

PURPOSE

When checking the TPS circuit for shorts, the automatic transaxle TCU connector must be disconnected also. This bulletin adds a TCU disconnection step to the 1992-1994 Eclipse, 1989-1993 Galant, and 1993-1994 Mirage service manuals. If the TCU is not disconnected, false readings may result.

Please make the indicated service manual revisions and as reference to this Technical Service Bulletin, write this TSB number in the TSB Revision box on the affected service manual page.
