Park/Neutral Position Switch Circuit:

Purpose
The Neutral Park Position (Inhibitor) switch, detects whether the transmission is positioned in park or neutral.

The ECU monitors the automatic transmission load and operates the Idle Speed Control (ISC) servo to maintain optimum idle speed.
