Condenser Fan Resistor: Testing and Inspection

Disconnect
condenser fan motor resistor connector,
Fig. 35, then connect a suitable ohmmeter to connector terminals,
Fig. 36.
2.
If resistance is 0.26-0.32 ohms, resistor is satisfactory; if not, a new resistor should be installed.
