REMOVAL
Pre-removal Operation:

Installation in reverse order as removal.

Post-installation Operation:
- Engine Coolant Supplying.





INSPECTION
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
Raise the water temperature and measure the resistance if within the

Standard value:
2.37 ± 0.24 ohms [at 20° C (68° F)]
290 ± 32 ohms [at 80° C (176° F)]





Engine Coolant Temperature Gage Unit
Immerse the gage unit in hot water at 70° C (158° F) and measure the resistance value width an ohmmeter.

Standard value: 104 ± 13.5 ohms [at 70° C (158° F)]
