DRIVER'S SIDE KNEE PROTECTOR SURFACE PEELING

PURPOSE





On some affected vehicles, the edge of the surface skin on the driver's side knee protector may begin to peel in the area shown.

To eliminate this condition, install a new, improved knee protector (listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin).

AFFECTED VEHICLES

1998 Montero models produced before VIN WJ001891

PROCEDURE

Replace the knee protector as described in Group 52A of the 1998 Montero service manual.
