Steps 26-53


STEP 27. Check if there is any sound when another DIN cable is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the DIN cable. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
Go to step 53.




STEP 28. Check the speaker.
1. Remove the speaker.
2. Check that the speaker generates noise when a 5-volt voltage is applied on the speaker terminal.
If the speaker is not generating noise, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the speaker is generating noise, go to Step 29.







STEP 29. Check rear speaker (LH) connector F-02 and radio and audio amplifier connector D-17 for damage.
If harness connectors D-17 and F-02 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If harness connectors D-17 and F-02 are in good condition go to Step 30.







STEP 30. Check the harness wires between rear speaker (LH) connector F-02 and audio amplifier connector D-17.
If the harness wires between rear speaker (LH) connector F-02 and radio and audio amplifier connector D-17 are damaged, repair them. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the harness wires are in good condition, go to Step 31.









NOTE: After inspecting intermediate connectors C-67 and C-71, inspect the wire. If intermediate connectors C-67 and C-71 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection.

STEP 31. Check if there is any sound when audio amplifier is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the audio amplifier.
Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, go to Step 32.

STEP 32. Check if there is any sound when another DIN cable is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the DIN cable. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
Go to step 53.




STEP 33. Check the speaker.
1. Remove the speaker.
2. Check that the speaker generates noise when a 5-volt voltage is applied on the speaker terminal.
If the speaker is not generating noise, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the speaker is generating noise, go to Step 34.







STEP 34. Check rear speaker (RH) connector F-04 and audio amplifier connector D-07 for damage.
If harness connectors D-17 and F-04 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If harness connectors D-17 and F-04 are in good condition, go to Step 35.







STEP 35. Check the harness wires between rear speaker (RH) connector F-04 and audio amplifier connector D-17.
If the harness wires between rear speaker (RH) connector F-04 and radio and audio amplifier connector D-1 7 are damaged, repair them. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the harness wires are in good condition, go to Step 36.

STEP 36. Check if there is any sound when audio amplifier is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the audio amplifier. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, go to Step 37.

STEP 37. Check if there is any sound when another DIN cable is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the DIN cable. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
Go to step 53.




STEP 38. Check the speaker.
1. Remove the speaker.
2. Check that the speaker generates noise when a 5-volt voltage is applied on the speaker terminal.
If the speaker is not generating noise, replace the speaker.
Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the speaker is generating noise, go to Step 39.







STEP 39. Check center speaker connector C-08 and radio and audio amplifier connector D-17 for damage.
If harness connectors C-08 and D-17 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If harness connectors C-08 and D-17 are in good condition, go to Step 40.







STEP 40 Check the harness wires between center speaker connector C08 and audio amplifier connector D-17.
If the harness wires between center speaker connector C-08 and radio and audio amplifier connector D-17 are damaged, repair them. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the harness wires are in good condition, go to Step 41.






NOTE: After inspecting intermediate connector C-71, inspect the wire. If intermediate connector C-71 is damaged, repair or replace it. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection.

STEP 41. Check it there is any sound when another audio amplifier is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the audio amplifier.
Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, go to Step 42.

STEP 42. Check if there is any sound when another DIN cable is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the DIN cable. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
Go to step 53.




STEP 43. Check the speaker.
1. Remove the speaker.
2. Check that the speaker generates noise when a 5-volt voltage is applied on the speaker terminal.
If the speaker is not generating noise, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the speaker is generating noise, go to Step 44.







STEP 44.Check tweeter (LH) connector E-19 and radio and audio amplifier connector D-17 for damage.
If harness connectors D-17 and E-19 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If harness connectors D-17 and E-19 are in good condition, go to Step 45.







STEP 45. Check the harness wires between tweeter (LH) connector E-19 and audio amplifier connector D-17.
If the harness wires between tweeter (LH) connector E-1 9 and radio and audio amplifier connector D-1 7 are damaged, repair them. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the harness wires are in good condition, go to Step 46.









NOTE: After inspecting intermediate connectors C-67, C-68 and C-71, Inspect the wire. If intermediate connectors C-67 C-68 and C-71 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection.

STEP 46. Check if there is any sound when another audio amplifier is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the audio amplifier.
Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, go to Step 42.

STEP 47. Check if there is any sound when another DIN cable is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the DIN cable. Check
that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
Go to Step 53.




STEP 48. Check the speaker.
1. Remove the speaker.
2. Check that the speaker generates noise when a 5-volt voltage is applied on the speaker terminal.
If the speaker is not generating noise, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the speaker is generating noise, go to Step 49.







STEP 49. Check tweeter (RH) connector E-02 and radio and audio amplifier connector D-17 for damage.
If harness connectors D-17 and E-02 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If harness connectors D-17 and E-02 are in good condition, go to Step 50.







STEP 50. Check the harness wires between tweeter (RH) connector E-02 and audio amplifier connector D-17.
If the harness wires between tweeter (RH) connector E-02 and radio and audio amplifier connector D-17 are damaged, repair them. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If the harness wires are in good condition, go to Step 51.






NOTE: After inspecting intermediate connector C-72, inspect the wire. If intermediate connector C-72 is damaged, repair or replace it. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection.

STEP 51. Check if there is any sound when another audio amplifier is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the audio amplifier.
Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, go to Step 52.

STEP 52. Check if there is any sound when another DIN cable is installed.
If there is any sound, repair or replace the DIN cable. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.
If there is no sound, replace the speaker. Check that the malfunction is eliminated.

STEP 53. Check symptoms
Check that all the speakers sound.
