BOLTED PANEL FIT AND ADJUSTMENTHOOD
ADJUSTMENT OF HOOD FIT
1. If the gap between the hood and the body is uneven, loosen the hood mounting bolts (if just the hood was removed) or the hood hinge mounting bolts (if the hood and hinges were removed), and then move the hood back and forth or side to side to adjust until the gap is even.
Hood mounting bolt tightening torque: 12 N.m106 In-lb
Hood hinge mounting bolt tightening torque: 12 N.m 106 In-lb
2. Turn the hood bumpers either left or right to adjust the height of the hood.
3. If the hood is too high or low, or if it does not lock and unlock easily, check the condition of the release cable, and then loosen the hood latch mounting bolts and move the hood latch to adjust the meshing of the hood latch and hood striker.
Hood latch mounting bolt tightening torque: 22 N.m 16 ft-lb
