Inspection Procedure 3

DIAGNOSIS

STEP 1. Check the housing tube and inner shaft for bending.
If bent, replace the part. Then go to Step 4.
If normal, go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check the inner shaft bearing for wear.
If worn, replace the bearings. Then go to Step 4.
If normal, go to Step 3.

STEP 3. Check the driveshaft assembly for wear, damage or bending.
If worn, damaged or bent, replace the assembly. Then go to Step 4.

STEP 4. Check symptoms.
Check that no noise is generated.
