Diagnostic troubleshooting instructions in the 2003 Montero service manual for MFI Diagnostic Trouble Code P0638 "Throttle Actuator Control Motor Circuit Range/Performance Problem" are incorrect. This bulletin contains corrected troubleshooting instructions for DTC P0638.
