SERVICE TIP:

On these vehicles, to register the third or subsequent keys, only a new key blank at its first registration attempt can be registered without using the MUT-III scan tool. This rule only applies to these vehicles.

If vehicle conditions require PCM or immobilizer ECU replacement, ask the customer to bring in all the existing keys. Then re-register all of the keys with the MUT-III after repairs are completed.
