TITLE: DTC P0335 and/or P0340 with MIL On

APPLIES TO: 2002-05 Lancer with 2.0L engine

SERVICE TIP:

If the MIL comes on and DTC P0335 and/or P0340 are set, check the camshaft position sensor support for wear. If it is worn, replace both the camshaft and the support. Be sure to clean the sensor and reluctor (camshaft position sensing cylinder) of all metal particles before reassembly.
