*If the service limit is exceeded, correct to meet the specification.

Cylinder Head Bolts

CAUTION: Install the head bolt washers with the beveled side facing upwards as shown in the illustration.





First pass 108 ± 5 N-m (80 ± 3 ft-lb)
Second pass Loosen bolts completely
Final pass 108 ± 5 Nm (80 ± 3 ft-lb)

Intake Manifold Nuts





Nuts "R" 6.5 ± 1.5 N-m (57 ± 13 in-lb)
Nuts "L" 22 ± 1 N-m (16 ± 1 ft-lb)
Nuts "R" 22 ± 1 N-m (16 ± 1 ft-lb)
Nuts "L" 22 ± 1 N-m (16 ± 1 ft-lb)
Nuts "R" 22 ± 1 N-m (16 ± 1 ft-lb)

Intake manifold plenum bolts 28 ± 4 Nm (21 ± 3 ft-lb)
Throttle body mounting bolts 28 ± 4 Nm (21 ± 3 ft-lb)

Camshaft sprocket bolts 88 ± 10 Nm (65 ± 7 ft-lb)

Exhaust manifold nuts 44 ± 8 N-m (33 ± 5 ft-lb)
