3. From the System Select menu, select PCM.

4. Click the check mark at the bottom center of the screen.

7. The window will change to one that reads:

"The Purpose of this function is to allow a technician to view the status of the Torque Convertor Clutch (TCC) break-in process, stop the break-in process or start the break-in process once a new torque convertor clutch has been installed."

9. The Current Break-in Status screen will display next. If both the "First Phase Break-in Complete" field and the "Torque Convertor Break-in Complete" field read "True," the TCC break-in has been completed.

If so, refer to the applicable service manual and replace the torque convertor. After replacement is complete, return to the TCC Break-in screen and select "Start TCC break-in, and click the check mark at the bottom of the screen. Follow the on screen instructions to start the process.

If either or both read "False," the TCC Clutch Break in procedure has not been completed and this TSB does not apply

NOTE:
TCC break-in can only be done during the course of normal driving. Duration of the break-in period varies with driving habits. There is no "drive cycle" to allow a technician to complete TCC break-in.
