Perform Quick Learn

To complete the repair procedure, perform the Quick Learn procedure to reset the Clutch Volume Index (CVI) using the MUT-III.

NOTE:
The engine coolant temperature must be 70°C (158°F) or greater to complete Quick Learn.

NOTE:
If DTC P1745 is noted in memory, contact Techline for instructions prior to proceeding. Click on the "Home" icon to return to the main page.





1. From the Main Menu, click System Select.





2. From the System Select menu, select PCM.

3. Click the check mark at the bottom center of the screen.





4. Select Misc. Function

5. Select Quick Learn and click the check mark at the bottom center of the screen.

Quick Learn involves following on-screen instructions to shift the transmission select lever to the various shift positions. You will be instructed to move the shift lever first to OD (D in the Raider). Then click the check mark at the bottom of the screen. The next instruction will be to shift to N. Once shifted, click the check mark. The next screen will be blank. Click the check mark at the bottom of the screen. The next screen will advise you to shift back to OD (D in Raider). Click the check mark and you will be advised "Quick learn in progress." The MUT-III will advise when the procedure is complete.





6. Click the check mark at the bottom of the page.

7. Click the Home icon at the bottom left of the page to return to the Main Menu.
