Cruise Control: Service and Repair
AUTO-CRUISE CONTROLREMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
WARNING: Before removal of the air bag module, refer to SRS Service Precautions and SRS, Air Bag Module and Clock Spring.
CAUTION:
- Do not replace the PCM and the ETACS-ECU simultaneously. Always replace either one of the ECUs first, and register the encrypted code (Refer to Chassis Electrical, Ignition Switch - Encrypted Code Registration Criteria Table). Then, replace the other ECU.
- After the PCM is replaced, idling speed may be unstable because the MFI engine learning is not completed. To make it stable, make the system learn the idling (Refer to General, Precautions before Service - Learning Procedure for Idling in MFI Engine).
