Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Testing and Inspection

NOTE: This article contains changes called out in TSB-08-35-001.

STOPLIGHT SWITCH CHECK

CAUTION: Do not apply grease or lubricant to the switch and the switch installation section to avoid malfunction of the switch. In addition, do not use gloves which may have grease on them.

1. Disconnect the stoplight switch harness connector.

2. Check for continuity between the terminals of the switch.
