NEW ANTENNA BASE SECURING METHOD - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
PURPOSE
The method for securing the radio antenna base to the vehicle has been changed in production effective August 1, 2007. The securing nut has been replaced with a bolt and spring (see illustration).
Due to this change, the removal and installation steps have been changed in the applicable Service Manual. This Technical Service Bulletin advises those changes. These changes apply to Affected Vehicles and vehicles where the antenna base is replaced with a new part.
