Blower Motor Relay: Service and Repair

RELAY - BLOWER MOTOR

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Open the cover of the integrated power module (IPM) (1) located in the engine compartment.

NOTE: Refer to the fuse and relay layout map on the IPM cover for blower motor relay identification and location.

3. Remove the blower motor relay (2) from the IPM.

INSTALLATION






NOTE: Refer to the fuse and relay layout map on the integrated power module (IPM) cover for blower motor relay identification and location.

1. Position the blower motor relay (2) into the proper receptacle of the IPM (1).
2. Align the blower motor relay terminals with the terminal cavities in the IPM receptacle and push down firmly on the relay until the terminals are fully seated.
3. Close the cover of the IPM.
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
