REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
WARNING:
- Before removing the front seat assembly, refer to Service Precautions Service Precautions and Air Bag Module and Clock Spring Removal and Installation .
- When removing and installing the front passenger seat, be sure to carry out accuracy check occupant classification sensor after the seat has been installed in the vehicle Accuracy Check of Occupant Classification Sensor ).
REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS
[[A]] SUCTION PIPE AND LIQUID PIPE DISCONNECTION
CAUTION:
As the compressor oil and receiver are highly moisture absorbent, use a non-porous material to plug the hose and nipples.
To prevent the entry of dust or other foreign bodies, plug the dismantled hose and the nipples of the expansion valves.
[[B]] FRONT DECK CROSSMEMBER REMOVAL
Disconnect the following connectors to gain access to the front deck crossmember.
(As for the connector position, refer to CONFIGURATION DIAGRAMS .)
NOTE:
For disconnection of the SRS-ECU connectors(C-124,C-125,C-126),
Slide the connector lock (white) shown in the figure to the direction in the arrow, press the internal claw using the precision screwdriver, and then remove the connector (C-126) on the disconnected side.
