Fuel Tank: Description and Operation

Fuel Tank Assembly:

The fuel tank, located under the vehicle at the rear, is a storage unit. The inlet is sealed with a vacuum opening cap (to allow air to displace fuel as it it is consumed) and is restricted to allow only unleaded fuel. The fuel tank is equipped with the fuel pump, gauge sending unit, fuel delivery and return fittings and a vapor delivery fitting.
