IF YOU CONFIRM
The center console latch needs to be replaced for any reason.
ACTION
^ Replace the latch assembly.
^ The center console latch is now available as a separate part.
^ Do not replace the complete center console lid assembly.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Open the center console lid (See Figure 1).
2. Remove the hinge mounting screws (3) from the lid.
3. Place the lid top down on a clean surface.
Using a Torx 20 bit, remove the screws (6) attaching the liner to the inside of the lid.
4. Remove the original latch and replace it with a part listed in this bulletin.
5. Reinstall in the reverse order of removal.
