ECM REPROGRAM INTERRUPTION RECOVERY

This bulletin has been amended. 2010 Versa has been added to the Applied Vehicles. Please discard previous version of this bulletin.

APPLIED VEHICLES: 2008 - 2010 Rogue (S35)
2010 Versa (C11) with HR16DE or MR18DE engine

IF YOU CONFIRM

While performing ECM (Engine Control Module) reprogramming, the reprogramming stops (is interrupted) before it is 100% complete.

NOTE:
One of the following error messages may appear on the C-III screen:

^ The VI probe is disconnected on USB, please check the connection of the probe.

^ Reprogramming fail, "Error code 0".

ACTION

Perform the reprogramming recovery procedure in this bulletin.

NOTE:
^ In many cases, reprogramming recovery is possible if the complete ECM part number has been registered into the ECM before reprogramming stopped.

^ ECM is referred to as ECU in CONSULT III.
