Distributor Assembly

1. Assembly is reverse disassembly procedures. Apply the following steps.

2. Apply grease to distributor shaft, governor springs, frictional surfaces of centrifugal weights and breaker plate.

Centrifugal Weight Assembly:

3. Install smaller diameter governor spring to distributor shaft and centrifugal weight. Install the larger diameter spring.

Rotor Shaft Assembly:

4. Position cutout direction of rotor shaft and eccentric direction of drive shaft protrusion. Install rotor shaft to distributor shaft.

NOTE: Use a new roll pin when installing collar.

Breaker Plate Installation:

5. Ensure matching marks on breaker plate and distributor housing are properly aligned.

Reluctor And Roll Pin Installation:

6. Insert roll pin into reluctor. Position cutout direction of roll pin in parallel with notch in reluctor.

Control Unit Connection:

7. Ensure IC module terminals are tightly secured.
