Test A - Correct Secondary Voltage

Test A:

1. If the secondary pattern is even and between 5k and 15k volts (depending upon engine load) the secondary ignition system is O.K..
2. If the pattern is not as indicated above, proceed to TEST B.
NOTE: Oscilloscope patterns vary from one scope manufacturer to another.
Always check the operating manual for exact pattern display.
