Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH (DTC: P0705)
When the gear position is "P" (A/T models only) or "N", park/neutral position switch is "ON".
Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the park/neutral position when continuity with ground exists.
