Seals and Gaskets: Service and Repair

Differential Side Oil Seal Replacement





1. Remove drive shaft assembly. Refer to "FRONT DRIVE SHAFT".





2. Remove oil seal, using Tool
Tool number: KV381054S0 (J-34286)

NOTE: Do not reuse old seal.





3. Install new oil seal.

NOTE:
^ Apply ATF before installing.
^ Install oil seals so dimension A is within specification Dimension A: -0.5 mm (-0.02 inch) to 0.5 mm (0.02 inch)





4. Installation of the remaining components is in the reverse order of removal.
