APPLIED VEHICLES: 2009- 2010 Pathfinder (R51)with I-Key ONLY
IF YOU CONFIRM
The "No Key" warning light is ON when the I-Key fob is located in the 2nd row area.
And/or
The engine does not start when the I-Key fob is located in the 2nd row area.
And
The engine start functions otherwise operate normally when the I-Key is in other areas of the vehicle and the "No-Key" warning light is otherwise properly functioning.
ACTION
Before performing any other repairs:
Check to see if the Center Console Area Antenna M212 is installed in the vehicle.
Refer to section SEC, INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM/ENGINE START FUNCTION, Component Parts Location in the appropriate Electronic Service Manual (ESM) as needed.
^ If the Center Console Area Antenna M212 is not installed, install the pieces from the Parts Information section of this bulletin.
^ If the Center Console Area Antenna M212 is installed, this bulletin does not apply. Refer to ASIST or the appropriated ESM for further diagnostic assistance.
