SLIDING MOTOR


Description

- The sliding motor LH is installed to the seat frame assembly.
- The sliding motor LH is installed with the driver seat control unit.
- The seat is slid forward/backward by changing the rotation direction of sliding motor LH.

Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, Driver Seat Control Unit.
1. CHECK SLIDING MOTOR LH POWER SUPPLY





1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
2. Perform "Active test" ("SEAT SLIDE") with CONSULT-III
3. Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.






Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace sliding motor LH. Exploded View.
NO - GO TO 2
2. CHECK SLIDING MOTOR LH CIRCUIT





1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect driver seat control unit and sliding motor LH.
3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and sliding motor LH harness connector.






4. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.






Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3
NO - Repair or replace harness.
3. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Intermittent Incident.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace driver seat control unit. Exploded View.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
