GUARD FRAME PLATE ASSEMBLY : Removal and Installation


CAUTION:
Replace guard frame plate assembly with a new part after removal as it cannot be reused.

REMOVAL






1.Stop storage lid assembly as shown in the figure. (during open operation).

CAUTION:
Storage lid assembly may close due to low oil pressure.
Always support storage lid assembly in the fully open position.





2.Disengage guard frame protector assembly (1) fixing pawls with a remover tool (A).

Broken triangle indicates : Pawl

3.Remove guard frame protector assembly.





4.Remove guard frame plate assembly mounting bolts (A).
5.Remove guard frame plate assembly.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
