Removal and Installation


REMOVAL






1.Disconnect both negative and positive battery terminals.

CAUTION:
- Before servicing, turn the ignition switch off and wait at least three minutes.
- Disconnect negative battery terminal first.
2.Remove battery clamp nuts and battery clamp.
3.Remove battery cover.
4.Remove battery.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Connect positive battery terminal first.

Battery clamp nuts: 3.92 Nm (0.40 kg-m, 35 in-lb)
Battery terminal nut: 3.4 Nm (0.35 kg-m, 30 in-lb)

Reset electronic systems as necessary. Programming and Relearning.
