Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

88, 98 & CUSTOM CRUISER
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering column trim cover, gauge cluster and headlamp switch knob.
3. Remove two screws attaching left side trim cover to cluster carrier, then remove trim cover by pulling rearward.
4. Remove two screws attaching mounting plate to cluster carrier.
5. Pull switch and mounting plate rearward and disconnect electrical connector.
6. Remove nut and separate mounting plate from switch.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
