Procedure #3

1. Remove yellow wire from compressor relay wire connector and plug connector back on relay. Place ignition in the ``On'' position.
a. If compressor stops, replace wire in connector, then reconnect wiring to relay and proceed to step 2.
b. If compressor is still operating, replace relay and recheck system. Ensure that 8 to 14 second delay functions correctly, if not also replace height sensor.
2. Place ignition switch in the ``On'' position, then raise and support rear of vehicle and disconnect wire connector from height sensor.
a. If compressor stops, replace height sensor and recheck system.
b. If compressor is still operating, locate and repair grounded wire condition from No. 3 terminal to compressor relay.
