Power Steering Pump Replace

To replace the power steering pump, loosen pump adjusting bolts and position pump so that drive belt can be removed from pump pulley. Disconnect hydraulic lines from pump and plug all lines and openings to prevent entry of dirt. Remove bolts securing pump or pump and bracket to engine and remove pump from vehicle. It may be necessary, depending on engine and vehicle model, to remove other accessories and components from front of engine to facilitate steering pump removal.
