Models Equipped With Remote Coil Distributor

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove spark plug wires and ignition coil.
3. Disconnect distributor wiring.
4. Remove two nuts securing distributor body to cylinder head and remove distributor.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Adjust ignition timing. Torque nuts 9-15 ft. lbs. No gear is used to drive the distributor. A lug at the distributor base engages a slot on camshaft end.
