SUBJECT: Pump Body

PROBLEM:




Fluid leaks from the oil pump body seal (front seal) may be created by movement of the pump body bushing.

If this condition is experienced1 a new oil pump body should be installed.

New pump bodies are now being produced with a machined step in the bushing bore.

The addition of this step is to prevent pump body bushing movement toward the seal.
